We are looking forward to our Winter Wonderland night tomorrow, December 11th. From 5:30-6:00we will have our Third Grade Music Performance in the Cafeteria. If you are not coming to our Third Grade Music Performance, we ask that you wait until 6:00 to enter the building so we do not interrupt the performance the students have worked very hard on. Those who are coming to the Winter Wonderland Parent and Family Engagement night and STEM lab will come in the front doors.
Communities in Schools at Moorhead Junior High is hosting their 3rd Annual Caney Creek Feeder Zone Health/Resource Fair on Saturday, December 13th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at Moorhead. There will be local vendors and organizations from the community, health screenings, free haircuts, Santa, Mrs. Clause, and more.
What’s that big #mobilelab in our parking lot? The @LearningUNDFTD Texas Mobile STEM Lab is a traveling hands-on learning space for K-8 students. Onboard the lab this week, our kindergarten, first and second grade students will work together to solve engineering design challenges drawn from storybooks and real life. Activities focus on problem-solving, critical thinking, cooperative learning, and developing creative solutions.
All students can visit the lab with an adult on Thursday night.

Our Milam PTO will be having their monthly Meeting this Thursday, December 4th at 5:00 p.m. We will also have our follow-up Title 1 Campus Needs Assessment, Campus Improvement Plan and Parent and Family Engagement Policy during this meeting. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
