Meet the Librarian
My name is Mrs. McAlister and I am excited to be at Milam Elementary. This is my twenty fifth year in education and my eleventh year as a school librarian. I am fulfilling my childhood dream of being a librarian.
Fun fact: I actually student taught at Milam Elementary when I was in college.

Monday – Third Grade, Robinson and Knighton
Tuesday – Kindergarten and Pace
Wednesday – Second Grade, Castro AM
Thursday – First Grade, Castro PM and Grande
Friday – Fourth Grade, Hersey, Suarez, Villamizar, Baird and Galloway
The last week of each month we have STEAM weeks in the library.
The Library is the Place to Be!
The library is the heart of the campus. Instilling the love of reading is our number one goal. We also strive to allow opportunities for the lifelong skills of collaboration, innovation, engineering and thinking outside of the box.
